Forgotten Desert Cheat Sheet

The new adventure in AnimalJam called the "Forgotten Desert" has made an explosion of popularity in the last few days. It first came out yesterday 5/15/2014 but it already had made a huge impact on the citizens of AJ. Rumor spreads that you can get glorious betas items beyond your dreams. I'm here to tell you that, that the rumor is TRUE. Just yesterday when playing I came upon winning a rare beard. Today playing the adventure I also won a rare mech. Two buddies I know on AnimalJam won a SPIKE. So yes, the rumor is true. In the last two days I've already played the adventure around ten times. All eagles in Jamma are in a frenzy to get as many betas/rares as possible. While playing the adventure I've already figured out everything you'll need to know to win.
STEP ONE: You must have 4 eagles 
You need to have a full group because it will be faster to collect as many crystals as possible. You'll also need four eagles because there is a hidden rock. If all four eagles sit on it it will activate a path to another rock. Which will eventually lead to one of the purple crystals. Who knows what you get once you collect all five purple crystals. My best guess is something like a spike or 10x better.
STEP TWO: Know what you're doing 
When playing in a full group I've noticed some people are confused. Listen, we're being timed here. If you have a question I bet a dozen adventure lets plays had answered it. You can ask all the questions you want during the adventure. While you do that I'll be collecting crystals to save your sorry feathers.
STEP THREE: The Crystals
You must have a good idea of where to find the crystals, and what they can get you.
Green- You find them laying out in the open 
Gold- You find them under water or buried you can see a sparkling light where they are located 
Blue- In waterholes that you fill up from a water bucket 
White- You get them after you sit on a large cactus with glowing eagle footprints 
Purple- You must activate a rock after four eagles sit on them 4-5 rocks= 1 crystal 
Green: Can get you a small, possibly store bought item.
Gold: Store bought item or small rare
Blue: Rare (or if you're lucky like me you can get something good like a rare mech)
White: Beta or a good rare (If you're really lucky you might get a spike)
Purple: How should I know? It better be good though
To be honest.... Don't waste your time trying to get the purple. Just getting one purple crystal will take 5 minutes. That is if you have a slow team.
STEP FOUR: Get in and out 
Once the time has ended and you won your items. Get out. Repeat.


Alright so that is it for my steps. But here is some extra info and a couple of my predictions and/or rumors about the adventure. If you got a good rare like a mech or something like that TRADE IT FOR SOMETHING BETTER. Now that these items can be easily accessible there worth will slowly plummet. That is, if (here comes my prediction) we can only win these items for a short amount of time. At first I only though it was for the first day. But it could last another week or a month. We don't know yet! The reason they do this is because AJHQ wants MONEY. They want kids (or teens to young adults) to buy their giftcards! Ever since eagles came out AJHQ has been breaking their back to  try and get people to spend more money. Until they get it they will have this adventure. I might say this is a cruel way to tempt people to spend more.
So until AJHQ get their money they will have these amazing items in the adventure. So unless the prizes will be there forever, play the adventure as much as you can. But I don't know about you but I'm going to try to trade them for better items.Just to be sure. The longer you wait the less your item COULD be.
